CanWest specializes in municipal service work and partners with multiple municipalities — including the District of West Vancouver, the city of New Westminster, and the cities of Coquitlam and White Rock.   We have current multi-year contracts with the cities of Burnaby, Surrey and Metro Vancouver.

We are able to:

• Respond quickly to emergency calls because we have many units out on the road — as many as 9 slab saw units out at any given time.
• Respond to a variety of municipal needs.  The scope of our work ranges from  small asphalt, curb and sidewalk cuts for the civil works departments, to many kilometers of asphalt trench cutting, and dealing with emergency water main breaks. 
• Accommodate work that goes beyond cutting curbs and asphalt.  We also provide GPR scanning, coring, wall sawing and wire sawing. 
• Provide services for a wide range of work, from smaller repair work to large-scale projects.   We have assisted numerous municipalities with GPR, core drilling and wall sawing at pump stations, waste water treatment plants, and drinking water reservoirs.
